DESCRIPTION:Join the Fayette Historical Society on Thursday\, April 16 at 630 pm as Ray Baldwin of Varick presents the history of the Brooks Brothers clothing company. Founded in New York in 1818\, Brooks Brothers is the oldest continually operating clothing retailer in the United States\, dressing all but two of the United States Presidents. Ray will draw on his personal research and experience as a long time employee of the company. The program will be held in Fayette’s historic 1824 Stone Church at 4345 State Route 414\, Fayette\, NY 13065. The program is free and open to the public. Recommended for teens\, adults\, and seniors.

DESCRIPTION:Daffodil Dash Returns to Cass Park on April 25 \nOnline Registration Open until April 10th for Benefit Walk\, Run\, Stroll \nRegistration is open for the fourth annual Daffodil Dash on Saturday\, April 25 at Cass Park. Visit raceroster.com/events/2026/113673/daffodil-dash for more details and the online signup page. The Ithaca Garden Club and the Ithaca Children’s Garden invite the community to run\, walk\, or stroll along the paved course while enjoying 180\,000 blooming daffodils they have planted with the proceeds of past events. \nThis year’s Daffodil Dash will fund daffodils at Stewart Park. Last year’s funds were used to plant 70\,000 at the Cayuga Medical Center. Center. \nThese flowers were purchased with funding from donors and dash participants\, and planted with the help of volunteers from the Ithaca Parks Department\, the Ithaca Garden Club\, and the Ithaca Beautification Brigade\, along with Cornell University’s incredible planting equipment. \nKids 12 and under have free registration\, and the option to purchase a $5 event t-shirt. Registration for all others is $25\, with optional $10 event t-shirts available.
