The Interlaken Historical Society Museums are open on Saturdays in July and August from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Community Life Museum is locate at 8394 Main Street in the Old Trumansburg Telephone building and the Farmers’ Museum is across the street at 8389 Main Street in the Nivison Grain Cradle Factory. Our Community Life Museum has displays on the early schools in Farmer and Interlaken, paintings by local artists including Arch Chadwick, plus our long-term displays of Indian Artifacts, Dr. Hill’s Medicine Bottles and the American Civil War. We will have also have many of the newest donations to look at. The Farmers’ Museum has displays on all things relating to the agricultural community.
