Quilting & Recovery: My Journey Back from Lyme Disease

November 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Martha Mosher’s quilts are currently on display at Lodi Whittier Library and she will be giving a presentation about how quilting helped her rehabilitate from the cognitive effects of Lyme Disease on Saturday November 19th at 11am.

She will give a brief history of her 7 year journey with Lyme Disease in the late 1970’s to mid 1980’s and the challenges she came out with: partial dyslexia with letters and numbers, inability to move things from intermediate to long term memory and how she used quilting and needlework to overcome those challenges.

She will bring along additional examples of her work and we will have time for refreshments and Q&A.

No registration required. Many thanks to the Nelson B. Delavan Foundation for making this program possible.
