Join Phoebe Van Vleet of Thistle Flower Farm at the Interlaken Public Library at 8390 Main Street, Interlaken on Saturday, March 21st from 10am to 12pm to learn about the entire process of growing cut flowers, pods, and foliages for drying, from seed to harvest! We will discuss variety selection, favorite seed sources, timing of harvesting, conditions for drying flowers, storage, and how to use your homegrown art materials. Participants will receive a handout for reference, and be able to choose 3 types of easy-to-grow cut flower seed varieties to take home. The program is FREE to enjoy and best suited to adults.
