All Summer Long – Eager Reader Program
The Eager Reader Program provides prizes for individuals who enroll in summer reading and check items out of the library between June 1, 2023 and August 31, 2023. The individual who is registered in summer reading and has checked out the most items in a week wins a gift certificate to Trimmers Ice Cream.

Ted’s Troupe Storytime
Ages 0 – 5 years

Early literacy support for birth thru age 5 children and their caregivers. Children enjoy a story with Mrs. Weatherby, a snack, an activity and some social time with peers. Participants receive a complimentary tote and information packet to help with literacy at home, as well as a keepsake “My First Library Card” for your little one.

Take-and-Makes
Ages 5+

Children learn thru play, and sometime’s that play happens on a flexible schedule. Activities can be available each month during library open hours, with activities changing all summer long. Activities available on a first come, first serve basis. Check our Facebook page for detailed announcements of each project! 

Story Art Program
Ages 5+

Join us in the park once per month in June, July, and August for a fun children’s painting technique class in the park. All supplies provided, themes selected from popular children’s books. Enrollment is required due to limited supplies – phone the library at (607) 532-4341 to enroll.

Movie Night
All ages

Come to the library and check out any movie and grab some free popcorn and candy, every Thursday all summer long!
