Historic Geneva welcomes touring theater company Live History to Rose Hill Mansion for the interactive theatrical experience In Time on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to a mysterious nexus in time, four members of the Swan household have been ripped from the late 1800s to the present day. Each with their own goal, yet all share a common problem. They only have an hour to return to their own time, otherwise they risk being erased from history. To get back to their time, they need the help of Rose Hill visitors. The question remains will they be In Time?
This program has escape room, quest, and theatre elements. Visitors will explore the mansion with characters from Rose Hill’s history while collecting clues and completing tasks in this live-action scavenger hunt. Groups will leave every 30 minutes beginning at 11 a.m. The last group will leave at 5 p.m. The experience takes about an hour. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at historicgeneva.org or at the door the day of the event. The Carriage House Gift Shop will also be open for the event.

Free summer concert at Rose Hill Mansion! Bring a picnic dinner, lawn chairs or a blanket. Enjoy an evening of music on the lawn to end a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes. On Sunday, June 16, A Girl Name Genny will perform. Their influences draw from jazz-roots music to bluegrass-folk genres, and even rock and roll. Fiddles solos, vocal harmonies, meaningful lyrics, insanely fast drums, and more are just some of the ingredients of what makes their shows work.
The last regular tour of Rose Hill Mansion will run at 3:30 p.m. There will be no house tours during the concerts. The Carriage House Gift Shop will be open during the concerts. Early literacy support for birth through age 5 children and their caregivers. Children enjoy a story with Mrs. Weatherby, a snack, an activity and some social time with peers. This program takes place at the Interlaken Public Library, 8390 Main Street in Interlaken, NY every Monday at 10am.
Participants receive a complimentary tote and information packet to help with literacy at home, as well as a keepsake “My First Library Card” for your little one.
