Early literacy support for birth through age 5 children and their caregivers. Children enjoy a story with Mrs. Weatherby, a snack, an activity and some social time with peers.  This program takes place outdoors in the park at the Interlaken Public Library every Monday at 10am.  Participants receive a complimentary tote and information packet to help with literacy at home, as well as a keepsake “My First Library Card” for your little one.

Mandala Canvas Painting Class at the Three Bears

This summer at Mama Bear (7175 Main Street Ovid, NY 14521): Local teen Chelsea Neville will return to show how to paint a traditional mandala pattern on canvases using mandala dotting tools and acrylic paint. This class will be on June 30th from 6:00 to 7:30pm. This class is suitable for all ages and is open to the public. Class size is limited, so please fill out the registration form if you are interested!

Air Dry Clay Workshops at the Three Bears

This summer at Mama Bear (7175 Main Street Ovid, NY 14521): Local artist Angela Cartwright will return to teach students how to work with air dry clay to create items of their choice on July 9th and 16th from 6:00-7:30pm. Students will have a chance to use stamps, rollers, and other tools to shape and decorate their stoneware. In class 2, participants will learn painting skills and use acrylic paint to paint their pottery from the first class. This class is suitable for all ages and is open to the public. Class size is limited, so please fill out the registration form if you are interested!

Colors of Kindness: Watercolor Painting Class at the Three Bears

This Summer at Mama Bear (7175 Main ST Ovid, NY 14521): Local artist Andi Pisacano will teach a class on watercolor and expression of emotions through color on June 6th from 6:00-8:00pm. She wants to emphasize the “colors of kindness” while teaching watercolor techniques. This class is suitable for all ages and is open to the public.
