Delve into your genealogy and ancestral history!   Join seasoned researchers for a twice-monthly meetup to discuss research tips and tricks, get help with your research, and enjoy other researchers who share your love of family history. Early literacy support for birth through age 5 children and their caregivers. Children enjoy a story with Mrs. Weatherby, a snack, an activity and some social time with peers.  This program takes place outdoors in the park at the Interlaken Public Library every Monday at 10am.  Participants receive a complimentary tote and information packet to help with literacy at home, as well as a keepsake “My First Library Card” for your little one.

Three Bears Summer Concert Series

This Summer at the Three Bears, eight regionally known bands will join us for weekly concerts on the lawn of the Courthouse Complex- 7175 Main Street Ovid, NY 14521. These concerts will take place on Thursday nights and the performers will set up in the Veronica Mahr Bandstand from 6:00 to 7:30 for eight weeks (6/26 to 8/21, no concert on 7/3). In the event of rain, concerts will be rescheduled. Please check Three Bears social media for rain cancellations.
This project is made possible with funds from Auburn Public Theater Regrants program, with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Auburn Public Theater.

Epic Art- Clay Sculptures

Interlaken Public Library is pleased to announce Epic Art: Clay Sculptures!

Ms. Jill will be demonstrating how to make a cute flower filled pot and a little bee with air dry clay.  You can choose to follow along or use your imagination to create your own design!

Showing August 29th: Where the Wild Things Are

Join us in the children’s room and watch a (G rated) movie while we serve pancakes.

Each child that attends will receive a free book related to the movie we watched!

This program is free to attend.
